About the C# Developer Ecommerce position
The Developer is responsible for delivering well-structured efficient code in line with business requirements and proposed solutions as defined by the Solutions Architect and/or Business Analyst.
This role builds on foundational development skills and contributes to the design and implementation of technical solutions within a collaborative team environment.
You are expected to follow the companys coding and process standards participate in peer reviews complete unit testing and communicate actively around progress blockers and timelines.
While still developing broader architectural thinking they are capable of owning end-to-end delivery of moderately complex features and supporting juniors where appropriate.
C# Developer Ecommerce responsibilities are:
Projects
- Backend
- C# MVC and *Web API development
- Strong understanding of the NopCommerce platform itself including custom module and *plugin development
- DB Design
- Experience supporting PostgreSQL and *MySQL is highly desirable
- Front End
- Proficiency in HTML CSS and *JavaScript
- Ability to *customize NopCommerce themes and improve the user interface (UI/UX)
- Tools and platforms
- Microsoft Visual Studio
- Git (for version control)
- Azure (or other cloud platforms) for deployment and services
- SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio)
C# Developer Ecommerce requirements are:
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
- IT-related qualification or relevant short courses
- Comfortable working with C# and object-oriented programming principles
- Good understanding of SQL and ability to work with relational data
- Experience in unit testing debugging and code review participation
- Agile Methodology experience
- 3 years of hands-on development experience
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while contributing to team delivery
- Clear and proactive communication skills
- Retail systems experience (advantageous)
