Personal Lines Customer Service Representative

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Lines Customer Service Representative to join a team. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional service to clients managing personal lines accounts and ensuring a seamless customer experience. Compensation Package

  • Salary: $40000 - $50000 (depending on experience) commissions.
  • Competitive benefits package 401(k) paid time off professional development opportunities etc.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of standard personal lines accounts including some accounts exceeding $10000 in premium.
  • Quote new and renewal business (approximately 50/50 split).
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries resolving issues and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient handling of accounts and workload distribution.
  • Utilize agency management software to manage accounts and documentation.
  • Work closely with carriersto provide tailored insurance solutions.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience: 5 years of personal lines insurance experience preferred (candidates with captive experience will also be considered).
  • Licensing: Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in agency management software is preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Dependable detail-oriented and excellent customer service skills.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in insurance is a plus.
