Location: Huntsville & Decatur AL
Pay: $20-$30/hr (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Full-Time Day Shift
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Per Diem: Not Available - Local Applicants Only

United Trades of America is seeking experienced Mechanical Millwrights for immediate temp-to-hire opportunities supporting heavy industrial and manufacturing facilities. Join a team committed to safety precision and long-term success. Direct-hire opportunities available after required hours worked.

Responsibilities:

Install assemble and align heavy industrial machinery (pumps turbines conveyors etc.)
Read and interpret blueprints schematics and isometric drawings
Perform precision layout leveling and alignment using micrometers dial indicators and laser tools
Troubleshoot maintain and repair mechanical systems
Operate safely in fast-paced manufacturing and industrial environments
Conduct preventative maintenance and identify mechanical issues early

Qualifications:

3 years of mechanical millwright or industrial maintenance experience
Strong understanding of industrial equipment and mechanical systems
Ability to read technical blueprints and perform accurate layout/installation
Familiar with OSHA safety standards and industrial protocols
Must have own basic tools and PPE
Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
Must be able to pass a drug screen
