As a Locum MD you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality pediatric care ensuring the well-being of our young patients. You will work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals contributing your expertise to improve patient outcomes and support the operational goals of our healthcare partners.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients
- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat a variety of pediatric conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to create treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families
- Participate in case reviews and quality improvement initiatives
- Stay informed on the latest pediatric medical advancements
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Active medical license in the state of practice
- Experience in pediatric medicine (minimum of 1 year preferred)
- Strong clinical skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and schedules
- Commitment to continuous professional development
Schedule: 8a-4p 4p-8a or 24-hour shifts
Patient Volume: 5-10 per 24-hour shift
Required Procedures: LP emergency neonatal intubation emergency umbilical catheters bladder catheterizations etc.
Must be board-certified
