As a Model-Based Systems Engineer you will:
- Provide on-site MBSE support at major intelligence centers (Huntsville Suitland Dayton Charlottesville)
- Develop high-fidelity Systems Modeling Language (SysML) architecture models focused on foreign missile systems and Command & Control (C2) systems
- Design develop and maintain integrated DoDAF-compliant system architecture views and SysML artifacts
- Collaborate with government technical leads product owners and agency stakeholders on system modeling and requirements
- Produce high-quality technical and design documentation in support of system development and analysis
- Drive MBSE standardization integration and best practices across the joint environment
Required Qualifications:
- 8 years of systems engineering experience with a BS/BA; 6 years of relevant experience with MS/MA and 3 years of relevant experience with Ph.D. (An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.)
- TS/SCI clearance adjudicated and able to pass a polygraph
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and tools
- Experience developing SysML artifacts in support of real-world systems
- Familiarity with ITASE (Integrated Threat Analysis and Simulation Environment)
- Working knowledge of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
- Strong organizational interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work across multiple agencies and locations in a coordinated technical team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting or working within the Intelligence Community (IC)
- Familiarity with some of the following tools:
- Cameo Enterprise Architect Teamwork Cloud Cameo Simulation Toolkit
- RMSiS MathWorks CATIA Simulink STK
- Jira Confluence Microsoft Excel
- UAF/SysML Enovia NGTS AFSIM
- Demonstrated experience presenting technical updates to government customers and senior stakeholders
