Job Summary:
The Company is seeking to hire an experienced Telesales Officer who will be responsible for driving sales conversions through telephone and digital channels. He/she will identify prospects onboard new pharmacies and healthcare facilities manage customer relationships and ensure consistent achievement of sales targets.
The ideal candidate for this role must be persuasive energetic and customer-focused with a strong passion for sales healthcare and technology-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Make outbound calls to pharmacies hospitals and distributors across Nigeria to promote the companys product portfolio.
Drive sales growth by converting leads into active purchasing customers.
Follow up on warm leads from marketing campaigns and digital platforms.
Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue per account.
Achieve daily weekly and monthly call and sales targets.
Build and maintain relationships with customers through consistent engagement and support.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries quotations and order requests.
Manage customer database and ensure up-to-date records in the companys CRM system.
Provide accurate product information and professional guidance on product selection.
Collect and report insights on customer needs buying behavior and competitor activities.
Provide recommendations to improve sales scripts offers and customer experience.
Contribute to sales strategy discussions by sharing data-driven feedback from the market.
Work closely with Sales Managers and field teams to align telesales efforts with regional goals.
Coordinate with supply and logistics teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
Support marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives through follow-up calls.
Requirements
Key Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Life Sciences Marketing Business Administration or a related field.
2-4 years of experience working as a telesales officer inside sales or customer acquisition preferably in the pharmaceutical FMCG or health-tech sector.
Strong communication persuasion and negotiation skills.
Excellent telephone etiquette and customer service orientation.
Good data entry and CRM software skills.
Target-driven and self-motivated with a positive energetic attitude.
Fluency in English (and local Nigerian languages is an added advantage).
Must be able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
