We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a leading Nursing Home in Galway. The ideal candidate is passionate about enhancing residents quality of life and values social physical and mental wellbeing.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care and ensure all clinical needs are met and monitored.
Create and update personalised care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
Support and guide care assistants and junior nurses to maintain consistent clinical standards.
Administer medications safely accurately and in line with strict policies and documentation requirements.
Maintain clear communication with residents families providing updates and addressing concerns.
Assist with shift supervision to ensure effective staff allocation and smooth unit operations.
Promote a safe working environment by following regulations adhering to infection control guidelines and responding promptly to emergencies.
Requirements
- A licensed NMBI-pined registered nurse (RN).
- A bachelors degree is preferred.
- One year of nursing experience is preferred.
- One year of hospital experience is preferred.
- A driving licence is preferred.
