What youll be doing
Supporting autistic pupils with both learning and behaviour in a specialist setting.
Using visual communication systems Makaton and assistive tech to help non-verbal learners communicate.
Building connection through intensive interaction social engagement turn-taking and early communication skills.
Using Positive Behaviour Support and co-regulation to guide pupils through moments of distress safely and effectively.
Working closely with teachers SaLT OT and behaviour specialists to follow and improve individual support plans.
