At Autism Center of Excellence (AutismCOE) our bilingual Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) help children with autism build communication social and independence skills through compassionate evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.
Were seeking a dependable caring bilingual English/Spanish BT or RBT to join our Durham NC team. This position requires consistent availability MondayFriday 3:00 PM6:00 PM with the potential for additional hours based on caseload.
Position Details
- Location: Durham NC (clinic and in-home sessions)
- Schedule: MondayFriday 3:00 PM6:00 PM (part-time; additional hours may be available)
- Employment Type: Part-time
- Reports To: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Compensation:
- Behavior Technician: $18.00$22.00/hr (based on experience)
- RBT Certified: $22.00$26.00/hr (based on experience & certification)
What Youll Do
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clinic and/or home settings
- Implement individualized treatment and behavior plans under BCBA supervision
- Communicate effectively with children and families in English and Spanish
- Collect and record accurate session data using digital tools
- Encourage the development of communication play and daily living skills
- Maintain professionalism and collaboration within the clinical team
Who You Are
- Fluent in English and Spanish (required)
- Passionate about supporting children with autism and their families
- Reliable patient and compassionate
- Comfortable working in both clinic and home environments
- Available MondayFriday 3:00 PM6:00 PM (with possible additional hours)
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
- Ability to complete required background checks
Preferred:
- Active RBT certification (training provided if not certified)
- Experience working with children (childcare tutoring camps or similar)
- Interest in psychology education or behavior analysis
