What youll do:

  • Component Quality Assurance for Production Line:
    • Define inspection plans and control methods in SAP
    • Provide technical support and training to quality inspectors
    • Participate in analysis and decision-making for non-conforming components
    • Notify suppliers regarding PPAP creation for inactive tooling
    • Support GEM actions
    • Improve and escalate local/global supplier quality procedures
  • Non-Conforming Product Handling:
    • Manage RMRA and internal deviations
    • Handle quality notifications and follow-up inspections
    • Coordinate immediate actions after quality incidents
    • Manage NCMs COPQ and CARs
    • Decide and validate sorting methods for non-conformities
    • Monitor daily sorting reports and blocked stock metrics
  • Component Approval:
    • Initiate quality profiles in SAP for new materials
    • Ensure compliance with new component introduction procedures
    • Verify PPAP/ODT/RMRA documentation
    • Escalate discrepancies with IATF/VDA/ISO standards
    • Track NPI parts from stock entry to production decision
    • Ensure measurement correlation
  • Quality Reporting and Records:
    • Monitor and report supplier component quality performance
    • Manage non-conforming product database
    • Conduct audits at sorting companies
    • Record and monitor audit action effectiveness
    • Execute other assigned or self-assumed tasks

What we need:

  • Education:
    • Higher education in mechanical engineering automotive engines or manufacturing engineering
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years in technical field
    • Minimum 1 year in supplier quality assurance
    • Certified auditor for quality systems (ISO TS 16949 ISO 19011) (Preferred)
  • Professional Skills:
    • Statistical control technical drawing interpretation (ANSI/ISO)
    • Measurement techniques and inspection equipment knowledge
    • Fluent English (second language is a plus)
    • SAP SCC MiniTab
    • Computer skills (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook)
  • Other Skills:
    • Communication analytical thinking autonomy teamwork
    • Commitment to deadlines
