Description
Position Purpose:
The Quality Controller position will ensure the final edited projects align with the producers vision and are broadcast-ready for television. This position is also responsible for formatting and adding captions to the completed videos.
Essential Duties:
- Ensure editors compile complete broadcasts with relevant content including main teaching b-roll promotions music and graphics that enhance AWMIs message.
- Perform quality control on multiple show versions.
- Meet daily/weekly deadlines consistently.
- Adhere to established media organization and archiving protocols.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all processes and procedures for Quality Control.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Familiarity with software.
- Familiarity with digital technology and editing software especially Adobe Premiere and Media Encoder is advantageous.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Team player with the capability to work independently.
- Proficient in Mac-based computer operation.
- Must be able to effectively operate a Windows-based computer and navigate Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to navigate Adobe Premiere for show previews.
Requirements:
- Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Must sign the Statement of Faith.
- A high school diploma or equivalent education is required.
- A Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred.
- Must pass all required checks.
Experience:
- Experience in video editing is preferred.
- Compensation is commensurate with experience.
