Job Summary
Job Title: ESL Instructor
Location: Enid OK multiple locations
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Possibility of Extension
Schedule:
Monday & Wednesday: 4:30 PM 6:30 PM
Thursday & Friday: 4:30 PM 6:30 PM
Tuesday: 12:00 PM 1:00 PM
Total Weekly Hours: 7 15 hours per week
Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified ESL Instructor to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) and/or English for Specific Purposes (ESP) to adult learners in a professional setting. The instructor will deliver engaging lessons assess student progress and help improve language proficiency for team members in a workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach 610 instructional hours per week in ESL/ESP courses designed for adult learners.
Develop and adapt instructional materials relevant to course content and student needs.
Maintain accurate records of attendance grades and student progress.
Attend partner and faculty meetings training sessions and recruitment or culminating events.
Support student learning through clear instruction and effective classroom management.
Required Qualifications:
TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certification (required).
Native or near-native fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong understanding of ESL teaching strategies including grammar reading writing and listening/speaking methods.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in English Education Linguistics or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of adult ESL teaching experience.
Experience teaching English for Specific Purposes (e.g. Business Technical or Industry-based English).
Proficiency in a second language.
Excellent classroom management organization and lesson planning skills.
Strong interpersonal communication and cross-cultural awareness.
Proficiency in technology-based teaching tools and digital learning applications.
