Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management: Lead mentor and manage the R&D team fostering a culture of creativity collaboration and continuous improvement.

Product Development: Oversee the design development and testing of new cleaning equipment including commercial vacuum cleaners and high-pressure washers from concept to commercialization.

Innovation & Strategy: Develop and execute the R&D strategy aligning it with the companys overall business objectives. Identify and explore new technologies materials and manufacturing processes.

Project Management: Manage R&D projects ensuring they are completed on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments including Product Management Marketing Sales and Manufacturing to ensure successful product launches and market adoption.

Budget Management: Develop and manage the R&D departments budget allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI.

Intellectual Property: Participate in the management of the companys intellectual property portfolio including patents and trademarks.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.

Experience:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a research and development role with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or leadership position.

Proven experience in the development of mechanical or electro-mechanical products is required.

Experience in the cleaning equipment home appliance or a similar industry is highly desirable.

Skills:

Strong technical background and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.

Creative strategic thinker with a passion for innovation.

Good business acumen and an understanding of market dynamics.
