Aerodrome Management Services (AMS) is inviting experienced Aerodrome Managers from across Australia to relocate to Western Australia and join our growing team overseeing safe compliant and efficient airfield operations across regional and remote WA.
This is an exciting opportunity for interstate Aerodrome Managers (4 years) looking to relocate for a FIFO role based out of Perth and the next step in their aviation career with one of Australias leading aerodrome management companies. Youll take charge of critical aviation infrastructure that keeps regional communities connected and industry moving. Drawing on your technical expertise sound judgment and practical leadership youll ensure airfields operate safely and effectively backed by AMSs national network of aviation specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and manage aerodromes in accordance with CASR 139 the Manual of Standards and AMS contractual requirements
Provide management and technical expertise for the ongoing safe operation of aerodromes
Foster a culture of continuous improvement in safety compliance and customer service
Oversee operational functions including stakeholder engagement grounds maintenance and infrastructure management
Lead people and manage assets to ensure risk mitigation operational excellence and strong outcomes in complex environments
About You
You understand the vital role aerodromes play in keeping Australia connected and youre ready to take your skills west for an exciting new challenge.
AMS will support your transition and professional development but youll already bring:
Experience in Airport or Aerodrome Management Operations Compliance Quality Assurance and Emergency Planning
Strong leadership experience in complex operational environments
Excellent administrative organisational and report writing skills
Clear communication with clients contractors and local communities
A current Manual Drivers Licence
