Location: Health Services Department at FCI/FSL Elkton- Lisbon OH

Spectrum Healthcare Resources a premier healthcare services provider is seeking a dedicated civilian Pharmacy Tech for a potential opportunity at The Federal Bureau of Prisons Field Acquisition Office in Lisbon OH.

Hours of Performance:
Monday to Friday 0600-1700 (30 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare prescription orders.
- Utilize BEMR to process orders.
- Verify prescription orders.
- Answer pharmaceutical questions as needed.
- Distribute medications at the pill line.
- Working knowledge of Pyxis machine.
- Inventory and stocking of pharmacy supplies.
- Check medications for expiration dates.
- Assist and monitor in the accountability of sharps.
- Assists Pharmacist in the proper disposal of expired and confiscated medication.
- General cleanliness and assist in orderly running of the Pharmacy area.
- Maintain a safe clean and secure work area at all times.
- Perform quality assurance protocol weekly maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from a pharmaceutical tech program that qualifies for state licensure/certification.
- Three letters of reference
- Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination TB Skin test of chest radiography AHA CPR certification
