The Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA) Acoustic Systems Specialist will serve as a Naval Aviation Technical Information Product (NATIP) authority supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) operator this role youll combine your technical expertise and understanding of acoustic systems to shape accurate high-quality documentation and contribute to the evolution of next-generation mission systems. This position will be based in our Jacksonville FL corporate office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the AAW for NATIP development providing direct support to PMA-290.
- Act as both a technical writer and acoustic SME generating and maintaining NATIP content to ensure flight clearance materials remain current for all FMS deliveries.
- Edit and update NATIP content using Arbortext Editor for XML formatting no prior experience with Arbortext is required; well provide training.
- Review software design documents for technical accuracy and operational clarity.
- Analyze system defects identify root causes and recommend effective solutions.
- Collaborate on Operator Machine Interface (OMI) design improvements for the P-8A helping streamline acoustic sensor operations and reduce operator workload.

Requirements
Education and Experience:
- At least 10 years of P-8A Acoustic systems operational experience required.
- The following qualifications are a plus but not required for consideration: Bachelors degree; NATOPS instructor/evaluator; MPRWS Instructor/WTI.
