About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Intern to support our HR Operations team. The intern will help gather and organise initial insights on employment regulations and HR-related requirements across Singapore Australia China Japan India and Indonesia. This role involves using web searches and AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) to compile structured summaries that will serve as a starting point for deeper analysis by the HR team.

• Use web searches and AI tools to obtain preliminary information on HR regulations and employment practices in the assigned countries.
• Document insights on HR processes (e.g. hiring onboarding payroll termination statutory benefits compliance requirements).
• Organise information into clear and structured templates for internal use.
• Flag areas where information may be incomplete inconsistent or require further expert validation.
• Support the HR team with other documentation or administrative tasks as needed.

Job requirements and experience

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources Business Law or a related field.
• Strong ability to search read and summarise information clearly and concisely.
• Comfortable using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) and online resources for fact-finding.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Interest in international HR operations and employment regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).

Advantageous but not essential

• Ability to read and write Chinese or Japanese will be advantageous.
