PYP Teacher

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PYP Teacher to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will inspire young learners through inquiry-based teaching fostering curiosity independence and a love of learning consistent with the IB Primary Years Programme philosophy.

• Plan deliver and assess engaging learning experiences aligned with the IB PYP framework.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing and growth.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across grade levels and subject areas.
• Engage parents and the wider school community in the learning process.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to deepen understanding of IB philosophy and best practice.
• Contribute to school life beyond the classroom through events clubs and initiatives.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE QTS or equivalent).
• A bachelors degree in Education or relevant subject area.
• Previous experience teaching within the IB PYP (or strong alignment with inquiry-based learning).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A collaborative flexible and internationally minded approach.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and contributing positively to a dynamic school community.
