During this project youll collaborate with a board of directors that genuinely cares about its people and its mission and provide guidance to a growing finance team as they implement best practices and enhance grant opportunity for a non-profit expert looking for an exciting project or a retired CFO who is open to making a difference in an incredible organization.

• Provide financial leadership and guidance to the Finance Director and accounting team to ensure best practices
• Review accounting processes around all GL accounting activities and identify areas for potential risk
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership during budgeting season and year-end audit
• Collaborate with department leaders to ensure accurate grant reporting and compliance

This is an excellent opportunity to step into an organization that makes a difference in our community every day in a role that will have a major impact on the long-term success of the finance team. This project is set to last until Q1 of 2026 and offers a very flexible schedule of 10-20 hours per week. This project is set to start before the Holidays and is going be a fun project over the next few months.
