As a Social Media Expert you will:

• Research plan and develop video content on EU policies events and achievements.
• Create storylines scripts and concepts for YouTube and social media audiences.
• Conduct interviews with EU officials experts and stakeholders.
• Produce film edit subtitle and finalize professional-quality videos.
• Serve as on-camera host and narrator adapting presentation style to different audiences.
• Manage YouTube content calendar uploads metadata and SEO.
• Track video performance and audience engagement to refine content strategy.
• Ensure compliance with EU branding accessibility and GDPR guidelines.

Qualifications :

What would make you a fit for the role:

• Bachelors degree in Media Production Journalism Communications Film or related field (or equivalent video production experience).
• Proven experience in video production editing and on-camera presenting.
• Excellent verbal communication public speaking and camera confidence.
• Strong understanding of YouTube content strategy digital storytelling and social media trends.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro After Effects Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Ability to simplify complex policy information into engaging narratives.
• Experience in scripting and visual communication.
• Knowledge of the EUs structure policies and communication priorities is a plus.
• Fluency in English ; additional EU languages are an asset.
