We are currently seeking an experienced Automotive Refinish Technician with strong skills in PPG Envirobase High Performance waterborne paint systems to join our growing team.
Position Overview
The Automotive Refinish Technician is responsible for prepping color matching and refinishing vehicles to OEM standards using PPG Envirobase products. This position requires expert-level paint application skills attention to detail and the ability to consistently produce high-quality finishes in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare vehicles and panels for refinishing including sanding masking and priming
Mix match and apply PPG Envirobase waterborne coatings accurately and efficiently
Perform final inspection and minor finish correction to ensure premium results
Maintain a clean organized paint booth and mixing area
Follow all safety environmental and manufacturer guidelines
Collaborate closely with body technicians estimators and management to ensure timely completion of repairs
Qualifications
2 years of professional automotive refinishing experience
Proven experience with PPG Envirobase or comparable waterborne systems
Strong understanding of paint prep blending and finish processes
Valid drivers license and good driving record required
PPG or I-CAR certifications preferred
Excellent attention to detail efficiency and pride in quality workmanship
