Job Description:
This person will contribute to the companys success by performing a wide variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies sub-assemblies or end products
Essential Functions:
- Performs hand soldering on electronic assemblies.
- Follows an engineered assembly process.
- Maintains consistent quality and productivity levels.
- Train and mentor other assemblers when required.
- Working in multi-functional teams.
- Touch up and Rework of electronics boards.
- Previous assembly experience & skills
- Strong mechanical background
- Harris product knowledge
- Microsoft Office programs experience
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced production environment
- Capable of identifying problems and contributing to process improvements utilizing lean manufacturing skills
- IPC 7711 certification
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years prior assembly experience 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 2 years prior assembly experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Time Management skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Self-motivated individual.
- Leadership qualities.
- Advanced communication skills.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role is $19.47 - $36.06. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
