Future Talent Programme is a Trainee Program within Tetra Pak. We offer a permanent position from start in September 2026 at our site in Lund. You will onboard an individually designed development program for 18 months connected to a specific position and the Tetra Pak organization. During the program you will participate in trainings and job rotations throughout various parts of Tetra Pak to explore your potential and grow as a person. As a Trainee here with us you will get to know our entire business and collaborate with colleagues all over the world. And this is just the beginning of your Tetra Pak career!
Material Treatment Finishing & Blank Fed is a team driving development and support of equipment for our converting factories around the world. We are building capabilities to produce our current and future packaging materials and we have a strong sustainability focus. You will have your reporting line in this organisation and at the end of the programme you will be working as a Development Engineer in one of our agile teams.

You will be based in Lund Sweden but you will work in a global arena.
What you will do
As our new Future Talent within Material Treatment Finishing & Blank Fed you will:
- Work as a Development Engineer
- Together with peers in an agile team develop and maintain converting equipment and processes.
- Secure there are production solutions matching the requirements of our new packaging materials being developed.
- Support internal and external stakeholders with your knowledge.
- Partner with suppliers and stakeholders in other organisations to ensure we gain the best knowledge and use it for the right purpose.
- Support our converting factories with our knowledge to ensure efficient production with good quality.
We believe you have
- A Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering Engineering Physics Chemical Engineering or equivalent engineering degree (Graduated 2025-2026)
- You are fluent in English written and spoken.
- You are flexible/mobile and willing to relocate during internal rotations
- You have good communication skills written and spoken
- Previous international studies/experience are considered meritorious
As a person you are curious analytical and a creative problem solver with an interest in equipment and/or process development. You have a strong willingness to learn and network and you are open to challenges with an eagerness to develop and improve.
