As Acting Head of Bands (312) youll lead a vibrant programme spanning the Preparatory and Senior Schools inspiring young musicians across Concert Jazz Rock and Cadet Bands. Youll bring vision expertise and enthusiasm to a department that celebrates teamwork excellence and the joy of music-making.
This fixed-term position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced band educator to take on a key leadership role and contribute to the ongoing success and innovation of Shores thriving Bands Programme.
To be successful you will:
- Bring proven experience in conducting and directing Concert Jazz and Rock Bands to a high-performance standard
- Demonstrate excellence as a classroom Music teacher with a minimum of Stage 5 experience
- Lead with creativity organisation and collaboration across staff students and tutors
- Communicate with professionalism passion and genuine care for student growth
- Be NESA-accredited and hold a current Working with Children Check
