ROLE SUMMARY:
Inspired Education Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Upper Primary Teacher to join the St. Louis School Colonna Campus. The successful candidate will motivate students to think critically act responsibly and develop a lifelong love of learning. You will play a key role in preparing students for their transition to secondary education through high-quality teaching and a supportive learning environment.

- Model and promote the St. Louis School Mission Values and Positive Behaviour Policy to foster a respectful inclusive learning culture.
- Deliver engaging inquiry-based lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum and the ethos of the Inspired Education Group.
- Use formative and summative assessments effectively to monitor progress inform planning and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Work closely with colleagues across year groups to ensure continuity progression and consistency in teaching and learning.
- Participate in professional learning contribute to curriculum development and support whole-school improvement initiatives.
- Lead or assist with clubs events or school projects that enrich the wider learning experience.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- A university degree in Education or a related subject with a recognised teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Upper Primary (Years 46).
- Strong understanding of literacy numeracy and cross-curricular learning at Key Stage 2.
- Ability to use assessment data effectively to drive progress.
- Enthusiastic reflective and passionate about inspiring independent confident learners.
- Collaborative innovative and eager to contribute to a thriving international school community.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- An EU passport or a valid visa to work in Italy would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum is preferred.
