Position Title: Quality Inspector II

Job Summary:
The Quality Inspector II position is responsible for performing AOI and X Ray after SMT as well as hand solder conformal coating bonding inspections at various stages of the production process to verify that products meet defined quality standards and customer requirements. This role supports quality assurance by identifying defects documenting results and ensuring that nonconforming materials are properly addressed. The position plays a key role in maintaining compliance with internal specifications and external regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct AOI and X Ray inspections inspect component solder conformal coating bonding rework as required
Upload X rays to the X ray record folder in the shared drive
Validate FAI first piece set -up
Able to program assemblies in AOI Test equipment
Identify and report any defects or non-conformities
Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards such as IPC-610 J-STD-001
Work with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues
Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results
Communicate any quality issues to management in a timely manner
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production efficiency
Provide flexible support in final inspection filling in as needed to maintain workflow and ensure consistent quality oversight.
Qualifications:
AOI certified
IPC-610 knowledgeable or certified (Preferred)
J-STD-001 knowledgeable or certified (Preferred)
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality inspection
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
Manual dexterity to handle small components and operate equipment.
