Job Summary

Come make a real difference as our Electrician!

Everyone should have a warm safe affordable home. As part of our repairs team youll play an important role in making this a reality for thousands of people in Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.

As our electrician youll spend your days out and about in our neighbourhoods carrying out electrical works in our tenants homes. Youll use your skill and experience to carry out routine servicing and responsive repairs to electrical services equipment. Taking pride what you do youll complete work on time and to a high standard.

What youll bring to our team

Youll be a friendly face delivering excellent customer service to our tenants. Youll build a good relationship with the team and work with them to resolve any issues that come up. You will be able to work independently recommending and getting the right materials for each task and keeping accurate records of your time and the work you complete.

What were looking for

Practical skills in building repair maintenance and refurbishment of homes.
Experience within a similar role ideally from within a Residential/Housing sector.
Ability to deal sensitively with a wide variety of types of customers and provide an individual service.
Knowledge of Housing Sector standards and regulations for the repair and maintenance of Social Housing.
Experience of using integrated housing repairs/maintenance systems and Microsoft Office.
Good commercial awareness.
Understands the importance of Health and Safety at work
Willingness to undertake work outside normal working hours.

Qualifications

Electrical NVQ Level 3
C&G 2382 - 22 18th Edition
City & Guild 2391/95 Electrical Test/Inspect
Driving licence
Minimum 3 Years Experience as a qualified electrician
