Position Overview:
These positions support production operations within the mail insertion department. The Inserter Sweeper assists the Insert Operator with machine setup quality checks and maintaining workflow efficiency. Both roles require attention to detail reliability and adherence to safety and production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in operating and maintaining mail insertion equipment
Review job tickets and ensure correct job configuration for each client
Inspect finished products for proper folding sealing address placement sequencing and overall quality
Sort inserted mail according to USPS or PSI requirements
Support production goals of pages (No.10 jobs) and pages (6x9 jobs)
Help achieve changeover times of 20 minutes or less
Notify supervisors or technicians of any mechanical or quality issues
Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
Push and maneuver large paper rolls using carts as needed
Perform additional production duties as assigned
Requirements:
Ability to understand and communicate in English
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Ability to lift and push materials as part of daily duties
Temp-to-perm opportunity for strong performers
