Job Summary
Description of the role:
The Sapling School is currently seeking Assistant Teachers to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. As an Assistant Teacher you will play a key role in supporting lead teachers in creating a positive and nurturing learning environment for young children.
Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and activities
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime and other activities
- Support children in their academic social and emotional development
- Assist with classroom management and ensure a safe and clean environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working with children preferred
- Passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits:
Compensation: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour paid bi-weekly
Location: Franklin Park NJ
