Location: Decatur & Huntsville AL

United Trades of America is currently seeking a certified Forklift Operator to support daily operations in a fast-paced fabrication shop located in both Decatur and Huntsville Alabama. This is a great opportunity for an experienced and safety-minded individual who is ready to join a growing team in the industrial construction and fabrication industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts to load unload and move materials throughout the shop
Assist with staging materials for welders and fabricators
Perform daily equipment inspections and maintain a clean safe work area
Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety procedures
Communicate with shop supervisors and team members to coordinate material flow
Support general labor tasks as needed within the shop environment

Requirements:

Valid Forklift Certification - Required
Minimum of 1 year experience operating a forklift in a fab shop or warehouse setting
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
Strong work ethic attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
