Job Summary

Mater Private Hospital Springfield and Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking applications for Physiotherapists to join our team in full-time and/or part-time roles. Based at our Springfield campus this is a career-defining opportunity in a dynamic patient-focused environment. This state of the art facility will meet the needs of the growing Greater Springfield region. Salary range: $39.86 - $58.59 per hour plus superannuation andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15900access to many staff benefits!

What youll be doing

As a Physiotherapist at Mater you will provide high-quality patient-centred care across a variety of clinical settings. You will deliver evidence-based interventions working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes across the lifespan.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver physiotherapy assessment treatment and rehabilitation for patients across a range of clinical presentations.
  • Provide safe evidence-based care in line with professional departmental and organisational standards.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions and support patient-centred care planning.
  • Participate in quality and service improvement initiatives translating research and evidence into practice.
  • Supervise mentor and support students junior staff and allied health assistants.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service evaluation and reporting.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and foster a culture of learning collaboration and clinical excellence.

About you

You are a motivated and compassionate Physiotherapist with a commitment to delivering evidence-based patient-focused care in a collaborative team environment. You are keen to contribute to service improvement professional learning and a positive workplace culture.

You will bring:

  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent) and current AHPRA registration
  • Eligibility for a Medicare provider number
  • Clinical expertise in physiotherapy assessment treatment and rehabilitation
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and support patient care planning
  • Strong communication interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement

Desirable:

  • Experience in acute or hospital-based physiotherapy
  • Additional postgraduate qualifications in leadership education or specialty areas
