Job Title: Part-Time MRI Technologist
Location: New York NY 10029
Schedule: 2 days per week 7.5-hour shifts (11:00 PM 8:00 AM)
Hours Per Week: 15
Pay: $65 $70 per hour

Job Summary:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Part-Time MRI Technologistfor an exciting job in New York NY.

Responsibilities:

Perform MRI scans and position patients and coils to achieve optimal image quality.
Educate patients on MRI procedures safety protocols and expectations.
Review and verify MRI safety questionnaires for all patients.
Assess image quality and ensure timely submission to PACS.
Maintain a clean and organized imaging environment including all equipment and supplies.
Accurately document patient information in the Radiology Information System (IDX).
Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
Assist physicians during imaging procedures as needed.
Comply with infection control radiation safety and quality assurance standards.
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy MRI physics and imaging techniques.
Minimum 2 years of MRI experience with GE scanners in a hospital setting.
Excellent patient care and communication skills.

Education and Certifications:

Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T.-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Valid New York State License in Diagnostic Radiology.
ARRT (MRI) Certification required.
BLS Certification required.
