Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team. The PT will evaluate patients develop individualized treatment plans and help restore movement function and quality of life. This role involves working closely with patients and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments to diagnose movement impairments and functional limitations.
- Develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based physical therapy techniques.
- Provide hands-on therapy including manual therapy therapeutic exercises and mobility training.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs injury prevention and rehabilitation strategies.
- Track and document patient progress adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals for holistic patient care.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in physical therapy and participate in continuing education.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards in patient care.
Qualifications
- Education: Doctorate or Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Active Physical Therapist license in Missouri.
- Experience: Prior clinical experience preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong communication problem-solving and patient-care skills.
- Certifications: CPR certification (preferred).
Work Environment
- Full-time or PRN (as-needed) opportunities available.
- Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Requires adaptability empathy and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
- Excellent verbal written and interpersonal skills.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate electronic documentation.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Evaluates assigned patients and develops implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patients need and physicians direction within the post-acute setting.
- Supervision of physical therapist assistants within scope of practice
- Communication with interdisciplinary team with focus on case managing patients needs not minutes!
