Senior Trade Control Specialist

The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Trade Control Specialist to join our team in Seattle WA; Arlington VA; Auburn WA; Berkeley MO; Hazelwood MO; or Ridley Park PA.

The ideal candidate will be an innovative problem solver demonstrate a global mentality and be adaptable to changing needs. This person will have a history of resilience in fast paced environments knowledgeable of US export trade control regulations and versatile in all forms of communication.

Position Responsibilities:

• Support Boeings Global Trade Controls Operations team. Providing functional support to business partners on trade compliance matters

• GTC Ops may include support of Boeings denied party screening program framework and standards Human Resources activities and Supplier Management team

• Act as a watchlist screening escalation point for the review of potential denied party screening matches

• Performs open-source research and due diligence including searches in external and internal databases for transactions subject to high-risk review

• Conduct assessments and training

• Other tasks as needed

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5 years of experience in trade compliance

• Experience performing watchlist screening and good understanding of sanctions

• Experience using denied screening tools (e.g. set lists resolve matches)

• Experience managing large projects

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 5 years of experience with Export Administration Regulations (EAR) & International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

• 5 years of project management experience

• 3 years of experience with Lean
