CNC Programmer I - Panels
TheCNC Programmer Idevelops (3 & 4-axis) NC programs and NC programs utilizing CAD/CAM programs for profiling metallic and non-metallic structural core materials and sub-assemblies for various aircraft applications and panel applications.
Monday - Friday 7:00AM to 4:00PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and or modify CNC programs for 3-axis and 4-axis machining centers.
- Analyze job orders drawings specifications and design data to calculate tool selection and machining speeds and feed rates.
- Design and define machining fixtures.
- Prototype and ensure the quality of first article parts.
- Set-up and operate 3-axis and 4 axis machining centers.
- Participate in improving our product processes equipment and methods.
- Prepare work instructions and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with operator training programs.
- Facilitate CI process.
- Handle internal and external questions in a prompt professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Continually look for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.
- Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Three to fiveyears progressively more responsible experience
- Extensive technical or specialized knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired in the first two years of college technical school or business school.
- Programming experience with mills and/or routers is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail
Additional Requirements:
- Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
