• Salary: WHA2$1084 -$1095.10 per week (pro rata)
• Ongoing Part Time working 30.4 hours (0.8FTE) per week over a 7 day roster

WHAT ARE WE OFFERING

Join our General Services team at Mount Barker District Soldiers Memorial Hospital as a Services Assistant where you will provide timely efficient and effective catering laundry and cleaning services to support high-quality patient care within the Emergency Department. This role operates across a seven-day roster and requires the ability to work morning afternoon and night shifts with duties including food preparation and delivery general housekeeping and maintaining a safe and hygienic environment within the ED.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE

• Undertake a range of vital support duties including food preparation cleaning laundry and stock handling to keep daily operations running smoothly.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently following clear instructions while adhering to infection control and WHS standards.
• Provide respectful assistance to patients clients and staff maintaining confidentiality and supporting culturally safe and inclusive care.
• Contribute to a positive team-focused workplace by participating in training quality improvement and helping identify opportunities for better service delivery.
• Enjoy variety in your work with a rotating shift roster covering mornings afternoons and nights seven days a week
