Job title: SalesSummary:-An independent extroverted self-starter with the ability to engage customers both on a professional and personal level.-The ability to sell or convince customers why our company and products are the best option.-A person who thrives in a competitive environment.-High school level math skills including the ability to utilize a tape measure and calculate estimates based on factors of product per square foot and per linear foot.-A willingness to get your hands dirty by visiting construction sites interfacing with building trades and conducting job site measurements.-A thick skin that can absorb deflect and otherwise deal with strong personalities as are prevalent in the construction industry. -Candidates should be eager for a long-term position and not be distracted by a grass is always greener mentality. -Construction industry and/or sales experience is helpful but not necessary.-Moderate computer skills are required. The position includes a cell phone vehicle health insurance and 401(k) plan. Compensation varies depending upon an individuals abilities and experience level. Generally our last sales hire (2025) earns $65K per year plus 2% commission on sales (compensation will depend on the applicant). An average brick and stone salesperson of moderate abilities should generate at least $1 million in sales per year yielding commissions at $20000 annually.
