Introduction:
Thesis work is an excellent way to get closer to Scania and build relationships for the future. Many of todays employees began their Scania career with their degree project.
Background:

Today these integrations are typically wired and limited in flexibility making installation maintenance and data exchange more complex.
A wireless local network inside the truck could unlock new possibilities for modularity faster installation reduced cabling costs and seamless data sharing between Scania and third-party components but it must also meet demanding requirements for safety security and robustness.
Objective:
The purpose of this thesis is to explore wireless and local networking solutions for integrating bodybuilder systems with Scanias truck platform from both technical and business perspectives.
