Job Summary

- Lead strategic research initiatives in a nationally significant Centre.
- Full-time appointment on a fixed term basis for 12 months.
- Base salary range: $116262 $127078 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
The Centre of Best Practice in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Suicide Prevention (CBPATSISP) is a national leader in Indigenous suicide prevention research and practice. Operating within the Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor Indigenous Education the Centre works in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples communities and organisations to promote culturally informed evidence-based approaches to suicide prevention. The Centre is committed to empowering Indigenous governance leadership and self-determination in all aspects of its work.
About the opportunity
- Lead the operational delivery of high-impact research projects and grants.
- Drive strategic planning and funding initiatives to support Indigenous suicide prevention.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders including Indigenous communities researchers and government agencies.

- You bring strong leadership and project management experience in research environments.
- You have a deep understanding of Indigenous governance and community engagement.
- Youre confident in managing budgets funding applications and reporting obligations.
- You communicate effectively and build trusted relationships across diverse teams.
