What Youll Do
The Lifecycle Systems Engineering (LSE) Project Analyst will be responsible for managing and optimizing the workflow for a wide spectrum of LSE supported projects and programs. This role requires a professional with strong analytical problem-solving skills attention to detail and the ability to drive the continuous improvement of LSE processes in support of a dynamic team of engineers. The analyst will maintain departmental metrics KPI reports and perform trend analysis to develop continuous improvement strategies. This position will coordinate LSE workflow from project intake through the final review/approval process organize team meetings track action items and manage the flow of project-related information to team members leadership and other stakeholders through the following primary support functions:
Project Workflow Management:
- Manage and collectively track engineering team progress for all supported projects and programs ensuring all project milestones are accurately captured as an input to metrics and KPI.
- Facilitate departmental project workflow ensuring dependencies and deadlines are met.
- Coordinate and/or perform the document review and approval process including logistics and preparation of materials.
- Provide technical editing and manage the LSE quality review process of project documentation.
- Coordinate discipline specific engineering training at the direction of the discipline principle engineers.
- Coordinate and support the maintenance of the pressure vessel safety program.
Process Improvement:
- Analyze KPI and trend data to identify develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Develop revise refine and implement improved policies methods and procedures for the LSE organization to increase operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Systems and Document Management:
- Manage files folder structure and nomenclature to ensure data is organized and accessible.
- Serve as the configuration manager for LSE&S processes policies and procedures ensuring version control nomenclature consistency and overall file/folder structure within various systems
- Manage SAP interface DOORs requirement management interface and learn/support other software applications as needed to support the LSE department.
- Responsible for managing and coordinating updates for the LSE internal website and SharePoint site.
Strategic Planning and Reporting:
- Develop plans to achieve strategic tasks and goals defined by the LSE Program Director and Manager.
- Lead departmental Safety PAUSE program meetings activities and documentation.
- Manage department level metrics provide development support and oversight of the implementation of key performance indicator (KPI) reports to monitor project and departmental performance.

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience OR
- Masters degree OR
- Ten or more years of relevant education training and/or progressive experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting.
Preferred Job Requirements
Bachelors degree in a technical or business-related discipline combined with at least 5 years of related work experience in a project support or business/operations analyst role within an engineering manufacturing or similar technical environment.
Software / Technical Skills:
- Configuration management and document management principles and tools.
- Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning and document management systems.
- High level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite especially Word and Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong technical editing skills.
- Experience with continuous improvement/kaizen and/or fundamental knowledge of Quality Management Systems and processes.
