Commercial Insurance Agent
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Insurance Agent to join a team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional with a strong background in commercial insurance to contribute to a growing organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and servicing a book of business as well as generating new business opportunities. This is a remote position offering flexibility and the chance to work with a dynamic and supportive team.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $50000 - $55000 annually
- Competitive benefits package paid time off professional development opportunities etc.
Responsibilities
- Follow up on warm leads to quote and bind new business.
- Service an existing book of business ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Handle 95% Commercial Lines accounts including General Liability Workers Compensation Auto and Property with a focus on small to middle-market accounts.
- Manage 5% Personal Lines accounts as needed.
- Utilize agency management software for account management.
- Collaborate with the sales team and agency principal to achieve business growth objectives.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Designations: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance is required. Candidates must have a proven ability to write new business.
- Soft Skills: Self-motivated sales-minded fast-paced and tech-savvy.
- Work Environment: This is a fully remote position; candidates must be comfortable working independently and managing their time effectively.
