Requirements:

Safety is an absolute responsibility of staff members at each level of authority for all that happens or fails to happen in response to the program within their respective area(s).

Issue and receive tools equipment and consumables to and from employees

Maintain accurate records of tool usage inventory levels and tool condition

Inspect tools and equipment for damage or wear; coordinate repairs or replacements as needed

Oraganize and maintain the tool room for efficient storage and easy access

Perform periodic inventory checks and audits of tools and equipment

Track calibration scheduled and coordinate calibration services for precision tools

Assist in developing and enforcing tool room policies including tool check-out procedures and loss prevention

Monitor tool usage to identify high usage items and recommend inventory adjustments

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper storage procedures

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

1-2 years of experience in an industrial construction tool room environment

Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with various hand tools power tools and precision measuring instruments

Proficiency in using computer systems for inventory tracking

Must possess exceptional organizational skills and be detail and goal oriented.

• Ability to lift and move tools and equipment (up to 50 lbs)
