Senior Compliance Analyst India

In this role you will be part of the India Compliance team working closely with the India Head of Compliance to support day-to-day compliance operations regulatory obligations and risk management processes. You will also collaborate with regional teams across APAC contributing to Optivers strong culture of compliance and governance.
What youll do
As a Senior Compliance Analyst India you will play a critical role in ensuring Optivers business operates within regulatory and internal compliance frameworks. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing regulatory submissions including data collation report preparation and timely submission.
- Coordinating periodic audits by liaising with external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth completion and timely responses.
- Undertaking ad-hoc regulatory applications intimation requirements and other routine compliance tasks.
- Managing certain APAC & India core compliance tasks including management reporting and employee-related compliance activities.
- Supporting control testing in coordination with regional compliance teams.
- Assisting in the review maintenance and enhancement of Optivers compliance policies and procedures.
- Partnering with internal teams on compliance-related matters such as risk reviews control testing and trade surveillance.
- Supporting ongoing compliance monitoring training initiatives and awareness programs.

Who you are
- Postgraduate Chartered Accountant (CA) Company Secretary (CS) MBA or an equivalent qualification in a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Compliance or Audit role covering stock broking or trading activities ideally within a proprietary trading or retail trading environment.
- Strong understanding of SEBI and Exchange regulatory frameworks governing trading and broking activities.
- Demonstrated interest in automation and technology-driven solutions to streamline compliance processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to prioritise and manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
- High levels of ethics integrity and commitment to upholding Optivers standards of professionalism and compliance.
