Job Summary
Catering Storekeeper:
Are you organized detail-oriented and experienced in inventory management
We are seeking a Catering Storekeeper to join our team at Company/Hotel/Restaurant Name to contribute to delivering high-quality services to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload food and beverage supplies ensuring they match purchase orders and documentation.
- Organize and categorize inventory for easy access and management.
- Monitor stock levels and notify management when reordering is needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the storage area.
- Conduct regular stock counts and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Manage expiry dates and dispose of damaged or expired items appropriately.
- Collaborate with kitchen and catering teams to ensure necessary supplies are available.
- Prepare inventory reports and perform regular stock audits.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in inventory management or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in stock management preferably in hospitality or catering industry.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety and health standards.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office.
