Job Summary
Job Description
The Software QA Specialist will be responsible for design and develop Functional and Automation test scripts.
Work closely with process team members to clarify requirements ensure testability and ability to automate to provide feedback on scripts both functional and technical. Identify test cases from Acceptance Criteria from the functional specs estimate work and participate in test reviews. Work on frameworks to ensure continuous deployment and continuous integration.
Dimensions
The Test lead will have a solid reporting line to the ADT lead Functional/Automation and will work closely with other developers in the team working on other parts of the system.
Key accountabilities include:
As a Test Lead you will be responsible to Active contribute into end-to-end test activities such as test script development test execution & defects management.
Work collaboratively with Test Lead / Process team in project to assess test scenarios and provide test requirements based on risk-based testing methodology.
Design and Develop Maintain Test scenarios test conditions test scripts test data and expected results for test streams including Product Test Integration Test Technical Test and Deployment Test.
Develop update and maintain existing regression test assets
Identify & Manage Test Data Test Environment needs.
Work closely with developers support for various testing activities including test case / script writing Clarification data load build deployments etc.
Execute test scripts
Provide test progress test results with accurate Reporting to leads.
Provide clarity on defect severity & priority.
Participate in continues improvement initiatives.
Skills
Understanding of build pipelines software development lifecycle testing methodologies (Agile/Waterfall) QA terminology processes and procedures using ATDD and TDD methods
Experienced with STLC and Testing Concepts
Working experience on Requirement Analysis Test planning Test Case Design Executing functional and Integration cases and Defect reporting.
Well experience in working knowledge on any WD modules with HR DATA Platform Knowledge Is mandatory(Core HR Time & Absences resourcing and Compensation).
Work Expertise in Test automation of Workday SAP and connected applications for SAP.
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment working knowledge with ALM & VSTS.
Well experience in Testing cycles (SIT and UAT) and good exposure with stakeholder management.
Good Communication and interpersonal skills.
Having SAP HR/HCM payroll experience is an added advantage.
Should be proactive and fast learner self-driven
Should go that extra mile in learning new tools and applications.
Ability to work across time zones and be flexible
Experience with Test Management tool (preferred with VSTS HP ALM UFT add on) integration with automation
Educational Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in computer science or equivalent with of 5 to 7 years of experience in QA Automation of Web & ERP applications connected applications.
