The DevOps Cloud Network Engineer is responsible for maturing the DevOps mindset within the agile teams using techniques such as Acceptance Test Driven Development Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery to provide quality products with seamless integration across Development Quality Assurance Infrastructure Operations Security and Release Management roles.
Candidates will work in a DevOps team environment and are expected to work on both tactical and strategic assignments. This candidate will be primarily responsible for helping teams prepare from a security perspective as we move into the public cloud (Azure) while helping maintain security operations for our legacy on-prem applications.
Required Qualifications:
Cloud (Azure) experience
Network support experience working with Palo Altos
Experience of security/network experience in the public cloud (Azure)
Experience working on large scale multiple team projects
Experience with Agile methodologies and Test Driven Development
Experience in at programming language such as C C# C or Java
Experience with at scripting language such as Perl Python or PowerShell.
Good to have
CISCO certified
Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer
Experience supporting ASA in the cloud
Experience supporting VPN Endpoints in Azure
Chef/Ansible
Git (contributions on Github)
Scripted environments experience
Configuration as code experience
Infrastructure as Code (IAC) experience (i.e. Terraform)
Operations experience
Monitoring tools experience (Splunk Dynatrace SignalFx VictorOps)
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) experience
Real-time automated metrics and reporting experience
