ServiceNow Senior Business Analyst (ITAM)
Location: NJ OR NY (3 days a week Onsite)

Role Summary
Role and responsibilities: The Senior Business Analyst provides consulting services by combining process and technical expertise to design and implement ServiceNow ITAM solutions facilitating workshops gathering requirements collaborating with technical teams and delivering training and documentation. The role also involves mentoring junior team members and managing customer relationships effectively. 1 2
Required skills and experience: Candidates should have strong business analysis skills at least four years of ServiceNow experience comprehensive knowledge of ITAM and HAM solutions familiarity with IT service management and hands-on experience with ServiceNow configurations and workflows. Additional certifications such as ServiceNow System Administrator Implementation Specialist and ITIL Foundation are preferred. 3 4
Interpersonal and technical competencies: Effective verbal and written communication ability to work independently and in teams across locations attention to detail strategic thinking customer-centric approach and familiarity with web technologies and system integrations are essential for the role. Staying updated on platform updates and managing project risks are also important
| ROLE OBJECTIVE & DELIVERABLES: |
| SUMMARY: In the role of a Senior Business Analyst (ITAM) you will have strong knowledge of ITAM specifically HAM solutions on the ServiceNow Platform and contribute to an innovative team dedicated to defining and implementing cutting-edge customer solutions utilizing the ServiceNow. Delivering consulting services by offering both process and technical expertise to clients; actively participating in the design and implementation of ServiceNow solutions. This involves engaging with customers defining user requirements managing change overseeing engagements configuring technical infrastructure components conducting business-focused testing and providing training. Your role will require the development and demonstration of specialized knowledge and skills in utilizing ServiceNow as a comprehensive enterprise solution. INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: - Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills while interacting with customers as a Senior Business Analyst.
- Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels with excellent customer service while building and maintaining relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team both on-shore and off-shore
- Must have attention to detail and the ability to present to a high standard.
- Ability to think critically and strategically to address complex business challenges.
- Strong customer-centric approach with the ability to understand and prioritize customer needs in the context of ServiceNow solutions
EMPLOYEE RESPONSABILITIES: - Facilitate workshops presentations demonstrations and training sessions on ServiceNow platform features and best practices in ServiceNow ITAM solutions
- Define the clients current state and desired state gathering requirements to enable you to write robust stories for development teams to deliver the proposed solutions.
- Build the clients understanding of ServiceNow functionality
- Provide process and technical advice based on the clients requirements.
- Collaborate with technical architects and developers to input into design and delivery solutions for the client.
- Produce and own training documentation and lead train the trainer sessions.
- Must be a team player and be willing to assist and mentor junior team members when needed

| KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: |
- Experience as part of a professional services organisation
- Strong business analysis skills including the ability to understand and document business processes gather and analyze requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
- Strong understanding of IT service management and HAM as well as familiarity with delivery assurance principles and procedures.
- Excellent understanding and proven experience working as a business analyst on ServiceNow ITAM projects.
- At least 4 years experience working with ServiceNow
- Comprehensive knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and its features particularly ITAM HAM solutions
- Experience of ServiceNow delivery and enhancement projects preferably HAM.
- Understanding of ServiceNow best practices particularly on ITAM solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues recommend solutions and drive problem resolution
- Solid understanding of technical concepts and the ability to work closely with technical teams to design and implement solutions.
- Familiarity with web technologies databases and system integrations.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow configurations workflows and custom application development.
Additional skills and experience should include: - Certified ServiceNow System Administrator
- Certified Implementation Specialist
- ITIL Foundation (v3 or v4)
- ServiceNow development skills advantageous (JavaScript HTML XML CSS AJAX)
- Willingness to stay updated on ServiceNow platform updates industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Experience in managing timelines resources and project risks.
- Understanding of ServiceNow architecture in particular ITAM solutions including Discovery as well as 3rd party integrations and MID architecture.
