Job Summary
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Lab Assistant who will support day-to-day laboratory operations under the supervision of the Lab Manager.
The selected candidate will handle sample preparation maintain records follow testing procedures and ensure lab safety and cleanliness.
As experience grows the role may expand into Lab Assistant Manager involving coordination and supervision of lab processes and team members.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in performing laboratory tests and preparing samples.
Handle chemicals glassware and testing instruments safely.
Record accurate data and maintain detailed reports of experiments.
Clean calibrate and maintain lab instruments and workstations.
Support senior lab technicians and follow testing protocols.
Manage inventory and ensure availability of necessary materials.
(For managerial role) Supervise junior lab staff and ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma or Bachelors degree in Science Chemistry Biology or related field.
Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and safety measures.
Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
Computer knowledge (MS Excel documentation) preferred.
Freshers are welcome training will be provided.
Prior lab experience or quality control background is an advantage.
