Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Engineer to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Design implement and maintain backend services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot / Micronaut / Quarkus).
Architect scalable secure and maintainable systems for cloud-based environments.
Collaborate with product managers frontend engineers and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software.
Optimize applications for performance reliability and fault tolerance.
Participate in code reviews design discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Mentor junior developers and help raise the overall technical bar of the team.

Job Experience and Key Requirements:

5 years of experience in backend software development primarily using Java.
Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and modern Java frameworks.
Deep understanding of RESTful APIs microservices and distributed systems.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL MySQL MongoDB).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) and containerization tools (Docker Kubernetes).
Solid understanding of software design principles testing and CI/CD practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative proactive mindset.
