Do you want to help shape the future of vehicle interiors
We are looking for an experienced and driven Lead Engineer to take responsibility for technical changes product launches and world-class design solutions. You will lead an engineering team and play a key role in our cross-functional project teams.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead technical changes from customer and internal initiatives.
- Prepare quotations according to GDLS deliverables.
- Manage the introduction of new products into production.
- Ensure APQP requirements are met.
- Drive design and engineering solutions that are technically and economically sustainable.
- Coordinate with internal and external parties regarding tooling manufacturing and suppliers.
- Be an active and driving member of the project team.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Budget responsibility for product engineering work.
- Ensure product cost quality and timeline.
- Comply with IAC policies and systems.
Your Profile:
- Engineering degree in automotive plastics mechanics or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry preferably interiors.
- Experience in product and process development as well as tooling.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with customers suppliers and production.
- Basic knowledge of CATIA for design studies.
- Understanding of drawings geometry and reference systems.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Ability to travel within Sweden.
